HOUSING UPDATE 7/28/2010: The Broadmoor is sold out for several of the nights of the GMA Executive Conference. Guests who have not yet secured accommodations or have been placed on a waiting list for The Broadmoor are advised to make reservations at the nearby, Broadmoor-affiliated Cheyenne Mountain Resort (www.cheyennemountain.com).
Reservations may be made by calling 800.428.8886. Mention the GMA Executive Conference to receive the rate of $179.00/night for a single/double standard deluxe room. GMA will provide shuttle service between Cheyenne and The Broadmoor to facilitate your participation in conference activities.

Reservations

Resort Fee
A daily resort fee of $16.00 per room, single/double occupancy and $2.50 for each additional person will be applied to all guest rooms. This fee covers daily newspaper, all incoming faxes, in-room coffee and tea service, unlimited access to The Broadmoor Fitness Center, toll free access calls and local access calls up to one hour in length, and high speed internet, both wireless and hard lined. The daily resort fee is subject to change.
Travel
Airline Service
The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is served by major airlines, including Allegiant Air, American, America West, Continental, Delta, Mesa Airlines, Northwest and United which provide more than 100 flights daily. Non-stop flights are available from Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Atlanta, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Chicago and Minneapolis/St. Paul.
The Denver International Airport (DIA) offers a second option for air travel and is located approximately 90 minutes from The Broadmoor by car. DIA is one of the world’s largest airports, providing nonstop daily service to more than 126 domestic and international destinations. Visit The Broadmoor Web site for driving directions from DIA.
Private/Charter Service
Private/chartered jets may fly into the Jet Center, which is located next to the Colorado Springs Airport at 1575 Aviation Way Reservations and other inquiries may be made by calling 719.591.2288.
Ground Transportation
The Colorado Springs Airport is approximately 20 minutes from The Broadmoor. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport and hotel at the cost of $35.00 round trip, per person, and can be billed to your room. The Broadmoor shuttle service has a booth inside the airport for your convenience. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 800.634.7711.

Green Initiatives at The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor has shown its commitment to environmental sustainability by participating in environmentally conscious programs in water use and with an aggressive recycling program. A state-of-the-art energy management system has been implemented, ensuring that all mechanical systems operate in the most efficient manner possible. In addition, the hotel recently completed an $800,000 project to convert 30,000 light fixtures to compact fluorescents, cold cathode fluorescents and LED’s.
